I shouldve run this by someone on here before I ordered my steering valve but like a dumbass, I ordered a Char-Lynn valve rated for 2-4 gpm and a displacement of 8.9 for my steering, will a stock saginaw pump work ok with this valve and a 2.5 inch bore x 8" stroke cylinder? The saginaw pump is from a '72 Lincoln 460 with (I think) hydroboost brakes. I am putting it on a 78 F-250 with rockwells and will be running 44 to 49 inch tractor tires. Did I screw up? Any help would be appreciated.
