on the rear 3rd member of my 4runner, the metal ring/seal that goes between the driveline flange and the 3rd member itself has somehow come loose and at highway speeds gives off a screatching howl that sounds like a dying rabbit or something. it doesnt appear that it can be pressed/popped back into place, but i dont really see how it was held in place originally. any input appreciated.

I've had them come loose also. I just tack welded it back to the flange and had no further problems.

cool, i'll give that a shot, its def cheaper than buying a whole new flange.
