Well, it depends. What motor are we talking about? And is this a 1/2ton Burban with the explosive 10 bolt?

ok well heres a question then. say i put a 14boltff on the back. i need 8 lug on the front correct? well when i change the hub to and 8 hole hub are the bearings going to fit from the 6 hole? or am i going to have to change everything internally? or would i b better off building the 10bolt. or just getting a 14bsf?

Link doesn't work

I'd do injectors. Locker's no good if your truck burns to the ground.

I just converted my 44 to 8-lug and put a 14 bolt out back. I had a 12 bolt in my Suburban, which is slightly better than the 10 bolt, but still sucky. I blew that thing up 3 times in 3 trips and said, screw this, I'm getting a 14 bolt.

VNM-HP645-800-2

those are the part number to the injectors.

when u put a 14 bolt in back what all do u need to change? shock mounts right?
but do u grind off the mounts on the axle or the ones on the frame?

and the brake lines should fit correct?

It's easier to change the shock mounts on the axle

shock mounts are all the same spot. you WILL need to mix match ujoint or get your drive shaft redone for the 1350 joint at the axle.

if you get a complete 14bff[with ebrake short cables] it is a dirrect swap!!!

as for your front 10b, yes your bearings and spindles are the same, you WILL need the rotoating hub[not the locking hub it is the same too], rotor, and brake caliper backing plate/mount from the 3/4t axle

as for the your question, get the most expensive one done first so its easier to do the other later.
