Toyota gears
Heres the question.
I purchased a set of 4:88 yukon gears a little while back with intent on installing them in my 83 Toyota solid front axle. I just recently decided to and purchased a fully assembled high pinion diff with reverse cut 4:88 gears and an ARB air locker from Randy's Ring and Pinion. Now, can I take the standard cut 4:88's I originally purchased for the older front end, and put them in my rear end. ( 89 toyota pickup, V6 4WD ) ???? any info would be much appreciated, and If not, anyone interested in a set of brand new 4:88 yukon gears? |

You can use 4 cyl gear sets in the rear of a V6 diff. The V6 gear sets are a little thicker, a little stronger so you will lose some strength.
