Memory Power
I've got the best noob question yet...
I've got my CJ player hooked up, it has the ground, a memory and a power. Memory and power. The ground wire is useless, it dosnt matter if its hooked uip or not. Its not being grounded from the frame either, or the mounting hardware since its all plastic and uses no screws. When you turn the jeep off, everything is reset. I hooked one into the radio of the fuel box and another to a power line that used to feed the electric oil pressure. What do you have to do in order ot keep it form re-setting? Do I have to run it to the power, or the memory, constantly from the battery? I'm about to run a new power line off the batter to go inside to power some lights, a tach, and this cdplayer... should the power be hooked to the memory or the power out of the CD player in order to keep it from resetting. Or am I way off on what to do.
