about to do the $50 paint job. tips?
alright well i'm gona paint my 85 toyota 4x4
the truck is my DD/trail rig. Gona be using Rust-Oleum 9800 series epoxy paint, which is a two part that you mix so it hardens. I work for Kelly-Moore paint Co. so I get a decent discount on it heh. It will be rolled on with sponge rollers on my truck which i prepped by sanding and will give it a good wash today before i start painting panels. any tips i should know of? Oh yeah, color is gona be John Deere green its fun being white in a lifted truck with bigass tires, now theres just one more thing for people to make fun of me for

your rolling paint on you rig? Neato..
![]() If you were using normal auto paint I'd say use a fine grit sandpaper to roughen the surface but since your rolling it who cares right?

My brother's (93chico4by) Bronco II is rolled on oliver green. It's a little textured but only took about 2 hours to paint the whole thing and didn't require much masking.

sorry to kinda jack the thread, but is there any special prep I would need for the fiberglass top on a 4runner? Its pretty faded and the rest of the runner could use a new coat too...
