86 Samurai-Had low oil pressure so I replaced the pump. It leaked-actually spewed oil from the right side of the timing cover. It didn't do this before. Thinking I had just screwed up the gasket, I took it all back apart, got a new gasket, the one that goes on the back of the pump to the block and used some rtv. I also checked the bushing on the front of the pump that seals on the crank-like new. Still the same problem. Has anyone else had this happen? I guess I am going to have to take the timing cover off and start it so I can see exactly where the leak is coming from.
Any other ideas? There are 2 small orings that came with the pump-1 for the dipstick-the other I don't know where it goes-no help from the Suzuki repair manual.
