What's up guys. I'm new to here but been offroad for many years. I gave my Jeep to my son for his 16th birthday and now am in search of my next ride. Pretty sure I want a 70-75 Bronco with good power and suspension. My question is how well does the early Bronco stack up to a Wrangler in same setup form. Here is what I will have when completed.
347 or 351 EFI
AOD trans
D20 transfer
411 or 456's 35's
James Duff 3.5 lift, 1" BL
Vintage air AC
Upgraded steering ect.
Bronco's come stock with better (stronger) motors, transmissions, front and rear axles, suspension, and you dont have to buy an adapter for everything. The anwer is obvious.
Are we talking YJ or TJ? Huge difference when it comes to suspension and engine options. A TJ is going to have the upper hand when it comes to suspension (4 link/coils vs radius arm front, leaf rear), but the bronco will have the larger, more powerful engine, and a stouter drivetrain.
Bronco's make your penis appear larger, at least mine does.
In stock form they suck as much as a stock Jeep.
Everything needs $ and goodies tossed at it, once you do that you be happy that it will take you anywhere you need to go.
EBs are kool. 9"rear, 44 front (smal joints), coils up front, lots of room for any drive train ya want (I crammed a 400/c6/20 in my old one). :smokin:
