Does anyone have any info on these little trucks. A friend of mine seen some of these with lift kits and mudtires used as hunting trucks down in Alabama.
What type of suspension do theyhave?
Are they diesel motors or gas?
Will the drivetrain hold up to 30"-33" tires if lifted?
I cant find what im looking for online just pics of the inside of the cabs. They look like they could be fun though
Guy near here has a few for sale. Looks like a regular drive train. I didn't look at the front susp. One had big 16" ATV tires on it. he even had a 4wd micro van. He wants like 5k for these things they are made by Suzuki and Toy I think.
they have the same lug pattern as 4 wheelers so most people put 4 wheeler tires on them. I put a lift on one for a buddy, horrible design but it was simple and cheap it was about a 3 inch lift. IIRC this one was made by diahatsu and was called a trail climber.
We ran into a few of those that turkish contractors in the desert used for their projects. Every now and then they'd get stuck and we'd get a couple of guys to lift it out and carry them to dry ground. I'd love to see one with a lift.
I would think the axles would be to small to handle a 33" tire. 29" maybe. My brother has one and I've check it out and compared it to my Samurai. There like the Samurai's little cousin...lol
saw one for sale around here that had a solid rear axle, leaves, lift blocks and atv tires on it.... think it was a suzuki model of some sort.
