if you have snow that stays season round then studded sounds like a good idea, i have pro comp mud terrains but in 2wd they dont realy do much on
ice. another option would be to put some sand bags in the back of your truck to keep the tires planted to the ground
i got some bfgs commercial traction ta's on both my truck and they are awesome! they have holes drilled already for studs and they have siping. Really nice tire! and i live in alaska! lol.
Skinny, skinny, skinny! Unless your going up on forest service roads with 4 feet of powder and breaking trail. Sipes, studs, and chains will also work wonders on ice and compact snow.
