Ok I found out yesterday that the bearing has heat welded itself to the spindle so I am going to have to replace the spindle and of course both bearings now my question is is there anyway to save the spinds and how would I best go about removing the bearing I have tried to remove it with an air hammer but lost power due to some electricla issue at my friends house so I ma towing it up here and getting to work on it tommorow. Also is the spindle the same size from a 88 to a 95 or to a 84 to a 95 I know I have tow of em and they are both in good shape I just don recall right ow if they both are the same length?
get in there with some kind of burr and gringing wheel and cut it all the way . (the inner race). then just sorta pry/peal it out.works for me everytime. soak it with some monkey piss/pb blaster .
I had my bearing shell and the inner race weld it self to the spindle. Just grind it till it makes a small break in it. Just be careful not to grind on the spindle. Then sand it all smooth.
