My leads need extended, and I just found out expensive 2ga wiring is from Napa. I have a crapload of nice 4ga. left over from a stereo install awhile back...would I run into problems using 4ga for winch power leads on a 9.5ti?
4awg would probably get to hot for long term wenching, btw you never said how long you are goin to make the leads. try hd or lowes for wire, its not the most flexable but a hell of alot cheaper
That's what I was afraid of. I forgot to bid on an auction for some stock Warn leads that went for $15. I just spent 4x that much on a single cable from Napa. I think if I found another set of stock 72" cables that would be plenty.
Best bet is Home Depot or Lowes (like the other post said). Pick up #2 stranded welding cable. Works great in my TJ...
