AX-15 question
So I am swapping out the 231 for an atlas 5.0
Before the atlas was put it, I noticed that when the transmission is in neutral, tranny fluid came running out of, I think, the output shaft. When the jeep was put back into gear, the flow stopped. Is there a problem with the transmission or is this normal? Any suggestions? Some of the responses I have received are that it is normal and will stop once the atlas is sealed to it, there are some bearings out and it needs to be rebuilt, and possibly just a seal. I'm not sure. |
