i got my hands on a free fullsize 44 for my yj, i plan to use it until i find a good cheap 60 to build, im curious how i can tell if it is a ford or a chevy 44 so i can find parts for it and get it in my yj, i cant seem to produce anything by searching and may be lazy but i really dont want to compare axles in all the build threads, any help?? thanks.

Ford has BIG dual piston calipers, chebby gots da rounder looking single piston.

On some ferd they say 44HD on the webbing, chebby never had that, just 44

are there much in the way of differences between one 44 and another, or is it just in the housing and perches etc.?
