Ok, I am having some trouble figuring this issue out. My truck is a 1985 Ford F150 with a 302. I am having an issue with wiring the switch up, so that I can get the truck to pass a VA state inspection. I know I do not have reverse lights on it. The issue, I know, is related to a trans swap. Originally there was a C5 or C6 in it, as the original wiring harness to the switch is there. It probably cr@pped out and was replace with an AOD at some point.
With this in mind, I am trying to connect the harness, if possible to the switch. I don't have any OEM style connector to reference to, due to the wires from the original being cut off and taped over at where the switch would have been, as well as no connector to an AOD style switch as the swap happened with one of the two previous owners.
