Front U Joint? Combo?
i swapped my 10 n 12 bolt for a 12 and 14 bolt..(60 on the way though) anyways i had to get a combo rear joint but i read on coloradok5 that all front ujoints will be the same as long as the yoke hasnt been changed out... is this correct? so in theory a normal 12 3/4 or 1/2 ton front ujoint will work? thanks for the help boys

there is no such thing as a 12 bolt front end. only rear, and afaik only 1/2 ton. but to answer your question, almost all front ends are going to use a 1310 u-joint. but some later ones started using a 1330. really, the only way to know for sure what you need is to measure it. a list of common u-joint measurements can be found on this page, about 2/3rds down. http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billav...aft/index.html
