Stupid question about wheels

Will late 80's ford 8lug wheels fit a mid 80's chevy 8 lug axle? The reason i am asking is because they are cheap. I know i might get flamed for asking but i am not going to get the wheels and then they dont fit.

They should fit. On both the pattern should be 8x6.5 .

I know one of them will hit the calipers, but I'm not sure which way, ford on chevy or chevy on ford.

There is no way anyone will know as we don't know what size wheel they are.
15's , 16's , or 16.5's .

I'd bet they are either 16" or 16.5 on a 3/4 ton or 1 ton, whichever it is. Anyways do some measuring if possible or just try it if they are near you.

Ford wheels will fit on a Chevy, however Chevy wheels will not slip over the hub of a Ford. Unless you are talking aftermarket then they will all interchange.
