H2 rims...

every ad i have seen for H2 rims says that they will fit on a Chevy 2500 HD truck. Other then possible having to bore out the centers a little, any other reason they wouldn't fit (back spacing, etc, etc)? Thinking of running a set on my truck for kicks until I am done with my Jeepster and then tossing them on there.

They will fit on any 8 lug GM without modification.

I just bought a set. the bolt pattern is 8 on 6.5

I verified this with the wheel shop I bought them from. the center hole looks big enough to clear most full float applications.

Hole needs bored out for my D60 FF. Fits a D44 front hub, but not the D60 rear.

centers have to be bored out for 1 ton axles NOT 3/4 ton.

they fit like the factory intended on my '01 2500HD. even was able to use the OEM Chevy center caps. they hug nicely inside the fenderwells, thus not slinging mud everywhere and for stock suspension to run 35's only needed a bit of T-bar crank + mild trimming up front. have a pack mule trailer also running H2s and my scrambler runs H2s w/ 37" MTRs. Ran Rubicon at 5psi w/ never a debeading problem like others claim. pic of the DD

course, once i went to the 27s, she barely fits inside garage-- w/ like 1/2" to clear...

shameless poser on top of big sluice...

for the H2s to clear the drive flange on the Sterling 10.25 rear axle, had to slightly mill out the centers of the wheels-- they fit the chevy D44 up front no problem, but did all 5 so they're interchangable.

Thanks for the pics Ren. I picked up a set for my 1 ton Jeepster build and was thinking of tossing this set on my 04 2500HD and just picking up another set for the Jeepster. Only gonna go up to like a 265 on the 2500HD since it will still just be my DD and hauling rig, but will enjoy the different look with the rims.
