01 S-10 motor gank

I am going to pull a 4.3 Vortech/4L60E/T-case out of a 4wd 01 S10. I have not started but before I begin I would like to know if I can pull all three at once. It looks like I might have to separate the transmission from the motor because the front diff is real close. Any one know.
