np208 to np 241 swap
anyone know what mods will be needed to swap a 241 for my 208??? im running a crate 350 to 700r4 to 208 to dana44/14bolt. are the cases close in length, will i have to alter my driveshafts???

Now I'm not going to claim to know alot about GM, but weren't all of the 208's passenger drop and the 241's drivers drop?
EDIT: N/M, i forgot the blazer kept a solid axle after 87. Anyway, the 208 and the 241 have the same input spline and mounting pattern. I'm not sure on case length. But when you go in with a 241, there's no reason not to do a SYE which would require a new rear shaft anyway. And I don't know what year blazer you're running, but 88/89 would be the only 241's you would be able to use if you have a mechanical speedometer and want it to work. i swaped out the stock transfercase on a 93 s10 blazer (i think its a 241) for a np208 and its pretty much the same dang case. used the same rear driveshaft. pretty sure i used the same adaptor also

I have a freshly rebuilt drivers drop NP241 with SYE that i want to trade for a NP241 PASS drop SYE KIT ONLY...that is right..a complete freshly built Tcase for a SYE kit...
anyone? anyone? Buehler?
