I presume you're referring to the "bump" that some people leave in threads. Threads on PBB (and all forums I've seen) are listed in order of latest post. When someone may not have any new tech/info to add, but wants to bring that thread back to the top for discussion, they can "bump" it. Usually seen with old build threads or sales. You'll also see btt (back to top) sometimes.

It's an irregular high or low spot on the surface of the street. Rumor has it there are more when off-road, but I'm skeered to try that.
