Moab in December?
I’m finally able to make the trip from CA to Moab. The problem is that it’s over Christmas break? What are the typical weather conditions for the end of December and will there be a good amount of amateur trails open?

I talked to someone that lives there last spring when I was down there. She said it is very cold and dry in the winter. Not much snow, the town is pretty dead. It might be a good time to go, you would have the place to yourself.
