A car changed lanes into me and hit my pas. side tire, caving in the cars driver door. We pulled over and I didn't feel or see any damage to the Jeep so I let the girl go without getting her insrnc info. Now the tread on the tires wears out on the inside and looks new on the outside so I took it to two different alignment shops and they both said the frame is bent and they won't touch it. The frame shop I went to wanted $50 to just look at it

Wouldn't this be a bent axle?

post pics, but i would say it was a bent frame.I had a buddy that got whacked in the pass rear tire,no body damage, and it bent the frame.Crabwalked like it had rear steer. Plus, if 2 professional shops said it was a bent frame,good chances it is.

Yeah, I'll try to get some pics.

These shops didn't even put the Jeep on the alignment rack. They just saw how the tires were wearing and said it's the frame.

Hmmm....if it ONLY hit the tire and nothing else, I would do a visual inspection of your inner Cs on the axle (stock Dana 30 I presume?)

Those aren't known to be the beefiest axles or components of axles in the world, and a good visual check from one side to the other might show you if something is bent.

Seen it happen before.

Check the frame for signs of buckling from the motor mounts to the front of the leaf spring fixed hangers.
