33/14.00/15 boggers. how low of psi can i go?
just wondering if anyone is running this set up how low can i go without bead locks without busting a bead every 10 minutes like i used to do with my 33/12.50 a/ts on the same rims?
i have them filled up to 25psi now just to seat the beads and it looks like they are basically ridding on the middle 2inches edit... 10 wide rims Last edited by abig84; 12-29-2008 at 04:44 PM. |

Depends entirely on how much pr0n you have loaded in the back...
![]() ![]() Seriously... Anything under about 10 psi and I'd be looking at a set of beadlocks. Money well spent, you can go as low as you want then. Quote:

i have heard that skinier tires keep the bead on better.
i ran 10 psi in the rocks on 35x12.50x15 on 15x8s. now i have bead locks and run around 4psi in snow. you could just air down your tires a little extra and see how it goes, just stay close to the compressor.

if your running boggers you are obviously mudding so you can safely run 10#'s without issue. any crawling that would include any sidehilling or the like then anything under 15 would be marginal

eh, not exactly mudding. ocasionally i have no choice but to bounce into a hole or two but its mostly like hill climbing, dirt, trails, technical kinda garbage. i ran them new years day with 20psi in them and managed to blow a bead somehow... figured one had a slow leak but it held 20 for 3 days and just checked it today after sealing the bead and its still at 20
