I plan on installing a lift kit on my 1999 tj 6 cyl 5 speed. Will a SYE kit and a CVC drive shaft both be needed or can I do one or the other? 4" to 6" lift.

Yes, new driveshaft too. When you do the SYE you are eliminating the Slip Yoke on the t-case output. So your new driveshaft will need a slip yoke on the shaft rather than the output. I went with Tom Wood's shafts front and rear and have had no problems. $304 delivered for the front, don't remember for the rear but probably the same.
