Dont know much about this particular truck. Will need the transmission repaired as it doesnt have 2nd gear, It will go into all other gears but will not even go into 2nd at all ( shifter wont physically move into second) Its aluminum case with bellhousig made on the transmission.

Not sure if its a common problem. I have rebuilt T18 and T150, but have never torn into one of these.

So my question is what trans would this be: Trans shifter shows 4 speed with OD, what trans is this and is this a common repairable problem that can be fixed by a shade tree mechanic. I think its the NV3500 transmission, But not too 100% , forgot to get the RPO codes off the truck. Not too sure about the second gear part.
