Looking for shops!

__________Northern California______________

I bought my first Toyota (92 reg cab, 5 spd, 22re, 4x4), and it's got an oil leak coming from.....? Looks like the bottom of the block, but Im not certain.

Anyway looking for some general guidance; where are the reputable/trustworthy shops you all take your rigs to? Preferably near Sacramento/Roseville/Citrus Heights/Folsom.

Thanks alot!

Quit being a nancy, get under it, and look where the oil is coming from. Hell, it may simply be the plug in the oil pan. Theres no shame in taking your rig to the shop, but your going to look like a total tard if it turns out to be something VERY VERY simple as that.

Truer words were never spoken! I have gotten under there though, and it's not the oil plug, or valve gaskets...

But even if it were a do-it-myself thing, I'm just looking for the places you all turn to when you can't do it yourself (not including the custom fab stuff places unless you get repairs done at the same place)

Thanks!

Ive got nothing. Im not in your area, so I cant help you out with shop references, sorry.

I just didnt want you to look like an idiot if you do take it to a shop and they look at you funny if its an easy fix.

Did you check the oil pan gasket?
