chevy SAS transfer case questions
I am gathering parts to do my SAS on my 1999 new body style silverado 1500 and am trying to figure out if someone sells a kit to eliminate the slip yoke on both sides or if there is a particular transfer case to swap in to solve this problem? It is already floor shift and has held up to my 38's well.
I'm also confused as to which transfer case this is. I know it should have a tag or something on it but I am at school so I can't check very easily. |

should be a np261 in there currently. there is a red/grey circular tag on the back of the case if you want to check.
i just did a SAS on my '01 silvy and i swapped in a 241. they can be found with a fixed front output, and 27 spline input and bolt straight up. i'm not worried about the rear slip yoke. i've flexed the piss out of my rear end and it's never been an issue.
