85 efi auto to manual swap ????
I have an 85 toyota p/u efi 4x4 that was an automatic. i changed it to a g52 5 speed manual. i had to make a jumper wire for the neutral safety switch to start the truck. the truck runs ok but sputters at 2500 rpm. i took at to a shop and they said i need to get an 85 ECT (computer) for a manual 4x4 truck. ive looked for this part but the plug doesnt match up. can any body help me with this problem. thanks
