Changing ring and pinion dana 60

So i have a factory limited slip dana 60 with 3.54 gears. I need 4.10. I am going to buy a brand new ring and pinion from randys ring and pinion.

Now im only changing the ring and pinion, do i need a master install kit? do i need to change the bearings and all that jazz? or can i just install the 4.10 and reset the backlash ect and call it a day? ALso anyone have a factory manual or guide on the dana 60?

No you dont need a Master Install kit, but it might be a good idea, if your axle has a lot of miles on it to go ahead and replace everything while you got it apart. Yukon makes a minor install kit, for just changing a ring and pinion; if I rememeber right all it comes with is shims, ring bolts, diff cover gasket, pinion seal, crush sleeve, pattern paint, pinion nut, and thread locker. You should at least get the minor install kit.

ok, i plan on just calling randy ring and pinion to order the stuff up. they have decent prices and sell everything i need. i will just go with the minor install kit, the axle is pretty low mile diff.
