chevy Dana 60 front axle, Kingpin pros and cons???
So I'm looking into a front D60 ( Chevy ) and seeing their are kingpin set ups, what is the pros and cons of kingpin vs. I'm assuming ball joints? thanks for any positive replies.

They may be a motherfucker to change but you dont have to change them every time you service the front end. On my last rebuild I didnt even have to change them, just tossed the bushing, bearing and seals ect in, it was a breeze. I would take it over a balljoint setup anyday.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm shopping for one off a M1008 that would be a kingpin set up.
Another question is are they low pinion or high? for some reason thought they were high I was informed they are not for chevy's. really does not matter, input please.

All Chevy and Dodge 60's are low pinion.
