I'm getting ready to tear into my '94 Jeep YJ Wrangler (desert-style build with full-width Ford 8.8 rear axle and D44 TTB front axle). . .I will be keeping the 4.0L backed by the AX15/NP231. . .the axles will have 4.30 gears (mainly because I'm getting the 8.8 already set-up with 4.30 gears, Auburn posi, and 31-spline axles). . .

. . .so my question is, what is the maximum size tire that I can run with 4.30 gears and a stockish 4.0L (will be doing an intake, headers, and cat-back exhaust w/hi-flow catalytic converters. . .but that's it for a while)?

Imo i wouldnt run anything bigger than 35-36 i run 35's on my jeep with 4.10's and im happy
