Add-a-leaf vs. new springs
83 chevy half ton 4x4 front. Springs are saggy and flat. What would be the height difference in add-a-leaf vs. new factory stock front springs? I only need 2-4 inches. Street truck.

I thought about that. What needs to be changed besides the front mounts? I know there are a thousand articles on that subject...

Your spring pad width will still be the same, so your gonna need new U-bolts,U-bolt plates, solid front mounts, rear mounts for shackles, and shackles.
