AC 96 Disco Doesnt work
I recently bought this Disco and when i press ac button nothing happens... the compressor doesnt kick in... the light on the AC button doesnt light on... it's like the whole thing is dead...
so i thought it was fuses... checked those... good there... checked the relays under the passanger side... and there was one missing... replaced it and tried the ac again... nothing... checked the fuses again... and the 20 amp side lights fuse blew... replaced in... blew again... removed the relay and the fuse doesnt blow... so... im no where but i know it's not those fuses... suggestions? |

Follow the wires from the relay to the compressor. Check for broken ones. Of those are good unplug the composite and see of the fuse still blows
Might be an internal issue with the compressor too...

It was the switch itself on my 95, same thing no light on switch and no AC. You can test it by unplugging the switch and jumping the wires on the harness with a short piece of wire (don't ask me which wires because I don't remember). New switch was about $12 from the dealer.
