We all arrived at different times on Wed. I had some friends who I had not seen in many years meet us at DTown on Thurs. and they were gracious enough to show us around. We saw almost all the 4x4 trails, camped every night and even with the bi@tch in the pro shop, had a great time.

Friday we loaded up and headed to the ghost town of Skull Shoals. We got lost and stopped at an old gas station that still use dials in the pumps. Guy there saw all pull in and asked us where we were heading. No one knew but me. I told him a ghost town. He said "there's no ghost towns in Ga." 30 miles later we were in a ghost town that does not exist lol. After a quick lunch, some sight seeing, we were off to Blairesville. Along the way we even stopped for ice cream. We arrived at the Trackrock campground right at 5. Settled in for the night to rest up and be ready for the next day at the Knob.

We were rolling out of camp 8:30am. We checked in at the trailhead and motored on. This place is phenomenal. We had some rigs that needed winching here and there, one that broke a rear axle, and another that broke a half shaft. Body damage inflicted a few, but smiles were on everyone. Then we ended up on a trail heading down that made one couple really uncomfortable. They had just got their JK 3months ago so I understand. Problem was they were in the middle and there was no turn around. They allowed another driver to get their jeep down the hairiest drop and an hour later we were at the bottom making some repairs before we headed to dinner. We lucked out the weather was perfect, and jeepfest had all the jeepers there. We ran into 2 jeeps and 2 motocross. Ironically, from further south in Fl. than any of us.

Here are some pics I took.

Looks like you guys had a great time. Let me know when you come to wheel GA again. I have a small 1/4 mile rock course I built around my shop for a little play spot.

That section is on the way to "Slippery Nipple." On the long dirt road it goes to the bottom of a hill and makes a sharp right to go to "Slippery Nipple," right in that turn, make a left instead, and it takes you to that rolling hill climb and another rock section.

There is also a hill climb section and a few horsepower hills on a totally different section. We needed some guided rides, but it was hard to get everyone together.

I am glad you all come out and I have one question...

On Bolder Ridge did anyone go to the back side and try it? I cut a few trees over there so you all could get in there, just hope you all saw that and tried it out cause noone that I know has ever rode the back side due to trees..

Now on to memorial day.. thats going to be a great weekend.. please come on back for that.

I did talk to Mike Mc about this ride and he said there was a ton of Jeepers out from what he was told. I havent gotten the numbers yet but how many would you all say there was?
Again thanks for the Support and also there is a Wounded Warrior Ride coming up this fall from the guys in FL, last year they had a great turn out and I hope this yr to double it.

I'm not sure...with that much land...there could be. We had to cross some flooded areas Sat, but that was just because of the rain the night before. Not exactly a class 4 rapid
