justsomedude It was a few years ago.... of course it was loosely based on what went down.

Schuylker People working with government appointee authorities, judges, economic development types, governors et cetera tend to make money on intentions. Is this case I bet money over feasibility. Now let's see your pics of JK's on Undertaker.

justsomedude Anyone see the law and order episode about this? It was a few years back when all this was going down. Corruption involving a proposed detention center disguised as an airport.....

1tuffyj I dont believe the park is open to public wheelin during dirt riot weekend, although i do plan on attending to spectate. The grand opening is may 17/18, thats the weekend to bring your rig and show support for new legal land.

bigbogger ill be there racing already registered an all cant wait
03-10-2014 08:18 AM
thirteenbelow0 As long as there is some open wheeling I plan on going. Looks like May 17th is the official opening date. Not sure if we should wait or not, its a 5 hour drive.
03-10-2014 07:01 AM
chris demartini Really looking forward to the new park.

Anyone heading out for the may 3rd dirt riot race? Thinking of staying overnight and checking out the park the next day if it will be open for that. I'll be in my daily driver xj open on 30s so probably just cruising the access roads to get a feel for the place and look at the harder stuff.

1tuffyj ^ now there is something worth discussing.

If paragon was a location that became legal to wheel again I would go until then no. As I said before I have far to much to loose to go and trespass on someone's property cause you feel "land was stolen from us"

Life isn't fair, accept it and move on. This is a stupid argument.
Nicely put.

AOAA looks to have a LOT of potential. I'm excited to see it open.

2D EDGE As I have said before I really wish someone would reopen this land.

And that was a very cold weekend!!!!

Call me an idealist but I don't feel that trespassing on someone's property is good for " 4 wheelers" image and it should not be something that is discussed or condoned on a public forum. Whether or not locals think it's ok cause "the property was stolen" from us or not.

I would love to wheel the paragon property again, I loved that place. But breaking the law and possibly getting fined, my vehicle impounded etc is not worth the risk in my opinion.

Just my opinion and that with $1.49 more and you can get a small cup of coffee.

DMG I think it is good that people are practicing civil disobedience and wheeling land that was stolen from us by criminals.

All of your concern about our image did fuck-all for keeping Paragon or Tellico or any of the other places we lost.

engnmonkey Maybe it isn't a great idea to post on an international offroad forum that something may be going on at a place that so many people could see/read. Don't you see the potential for the wrong person reading what you are posting? And the backlash that could result?

Surely, as a local, you can understand what I am saying. Right, wrong or indifferent, keep private things private. PM me bigbogger if you are unclear what i am trying to say here.

I was trying to not make you look like a douche online. You do that enough yourself.

Exactly what I was getting at. I wasn't saying its right or wrong or that I've done it (haven't been there since the last day open when it was 7 degrees out), just that people go there and nobody seems to hide it or care. I'd love to be able to wheel there as much as the next guy, just not worth having my tow rig or trailer vandalized while I'm there.

yotabuggy85 So when's someone going to buy/lease this land again and open the park up?!?! Waiting...

This. It just gives them more ammunition against us.
