Let me rephrase; I hope your customer was aware you were going to take years to finish it.
OK, that is better.

Years? LOL-decades might be better, but when it's done, it's perfect!

And, yes, Chad and I have spoken periodically and he was aware of the situation through the process.

Buck-I'm sorry, I probably took your comment more personally than I should have as I'm now not sure you meant it the way I took it. Please accept my apology.

At least I didn't have a battery box take me out of a race because I didn't secure it appropriately.

lwt002 Is this thing ready yet? We are trying to move back out to az. If it happens you are welcome to come out and crash so you can run a desert race.... as long as I get to Co pilot.

Crash as in stay at my place... not crash the rig!

Aub Well good on you for doing something awesome!!!! Enjoy living a good life! I love my MTB as much, if not more, than my landy... right up until two years ago when I under jumped a 12 metre step down double while racing my downhill bike and destroyed my right tib and fib, all the ligaments and most of the muscle around the compound fracture and then put both bones through the skin. I can't wait to get my leg good enough to just go out and doing a trail ride again.

Going to miss the up dates on the vehicle but at least it's not getting shelved!

Roxtar Oh, and sorry, all the RSF schwag is gone.

Roxtar Life here in New Mexico is good.
Very good.
But can be hard.

"Retirement"?
LOL
We're too busy to imagine. Between running a biking/running/skiing/climbing shop, working with the county to promote mountain biking in Los Alamos, and directing a new Enduro race, life is awesome, but tiring.
Getting my own riding & skiing in can get tough at times.
However
If I ever start acting like a winy bitch, complaining about how life is hard...

I just look out my window at the mountains or ride the block from my door to get to world class trails and am reminded how blessed I am.

fishEH He's too busy seeking justice for those wronged in the Rover world.

What's up, Brad!? How's "retirement"? Got any extra RockStar hats laying around?

Roxtar Hey there PT. any pics or updates?
02-07-2015 01:38 PM
Roxtar The projects been fun and we have learned a lot. Cant wait to get it fully done and dialed in to see what works and what needs tweaking. I am the owner of the vehicle and am using roxtars log in to post updates. He is no longer involved with the project as he has moved and has started a buisness. He was a great help and iI learned so much from him. He checks this site every so often so you can get in contact with him or i can if neccesary.

The dog keeps eating my homework.

I lost a week with my tool truck being down, then as I was on my way to a sales meeting, I got a load of bad diesel fuel and my pick-up was down for a week.

I have a replacement wiring harness and now just need to string it up and carefully crank it over before trying to fire it up.
