Skip44 Well we, (WMMJ), went snow wheeling. There were 10 jeeps and two snow cats. We were in the Sunday River area in the western Maine mountains.

Skip44 We're (WMMJ) planing on going out again this week end. I have my Jeep loaded and ready to go. Hopefully I'll remember to bring my camera on the run.

Skip44 I did get my TJ done and I had a great time. I brought my camera and left it in the truck, so no pics. I did get to meet Ben's son, race car driver extraordinaire Bill. Good time had by all.

Typical ridiculousness

How things normally end up at midcoast

01-27-2014 06:26 PM
djljeep I'll be adding to this after Saturday, although reports from midcoast are indicating little snow and lots of ice again.

Skip44 I got my rear axle back on and took the TJ out for a test run today. Still need to finish bleeding the brakes and a few little things. I hope to go out tomorrow for a good test run. Then this week end our club (WMMJ) monthly run. I'll get some pictures and post here if it all comes together.

Yeah finished it last fall. Still finding some bugs in it but it works well. I'll keep you in mind next time we go.

In a typical Picture is deceiving sort of way, theres actually a pretty steep piece of ledge he was trying to climb that was glare ice. He slid off of it and tried to drive off. No damage at all, and a bunch of laughs, a snatch block and a hazmat pad later we were on our way.
