Or run in a qualifier, and run "the big race"

|mtbrjon||I may be misreading it but in the EMC thread over in the comp forum it looks like Ftoys will be competing against all the Mod Stocks? I thought it was a separate class?|

|Wilson||Looking at event pics and score sheets, I haven't seen a ftoy class. Sure you could show up with your money and they'll let you run. I keep seeing "comp legal" popping up in this thread, which makes no sense if there are no longer ftoy comps.|

No one wants to cone dodge anymore, everyone wants to go fast.

|Wilson||does werock even have a ftoy class anymore? Last couple of times I've checked event coverage there's been very few competitors in all of the classes and I cannot recall seeing a single ftoy.|

It will be good to see more solid axle cars in the mod class, especially Toyota based. I plan on racing my 85 4runner in the race as well, on leaf springs of course!
I have been reading up in this forum to try to get ideas on how to go faster on leaf springs. Thanks for the ideas.

Sounds fun Sean. One dumb question, where do I send my money for the registration. I would also lke to try the LCQ as well

Just how many f-toys are actually a go for this prize?
|06-26-2012 07:41 AM|
Shit, why not just start a pot. First FToy chassis gets it.
I'll put $100 in. Hobie, Rod, Richard, Robert, you better get it. You're gonna be embarassed if an FToy with leafs and no turbo grabs it.

This will drag Hobie out of retirement.

Hendrix Motorsports will have a $500 cash prize for the top finishing comp legal Formula Toy in the KOH EMC.
The smart thing to do would be to build your Formula Toy to be legal for both classes. I.E. Following WEROCK Formula Toy rules with the two added rules.
1. 37" DOT tires
2. one 14" x 2.5" shock per wheel.
Of course you have to follow all KOH safety rules.

Will there be a specific f-toy class (with prizes) for the existing f-toy rules? or are we all lumped into the existing Ultra4 modified class?
If so, are we going to be opened up to Ulra4 Modified rules? ex.. 37 DOT tires, open radiator position, 2 shocks per corner, any motor, tranny, any suspension, full hydro, ect?
If not. What is going to be allowed in the F-toy class. Same existing rules except rebuild-able shocks up to 14" with 2.5 body?
(Any tire size, NON-DOT, front radiator position, 1 shock per corner, leafs front and rear, toyota running gear, ect.. )

This is only "academic" for me; I'm not racing. Are you heading down?
