2015 PowerTIG 255EXT DUAL VOLTAGE ACDC TIG WELDER ON THE WAY

We're almost ready to release the 2015 line for the fall. The new PowerTIG 255EXT is on it's way soon. I think this years model has about everything that we could practically put into it and incorporates many common customer requests.
This year we've added a few pleasant features to it.
This years model includes the following new features:

1) 120V/240V 1 phase capability. Yes, that's right. It's slated for UP to 150 amps on 110V. The three phase has been deleted in favor of dual voltage and the 325EXT will be the 240 1 phase/3phase 480 3 phase capable unit now.
2) We've added a spot weld timer for unit so that it has similar capability to the 250EX in that regard
3) We've added purge control so that adjusting regulator settings is not so hard
4) The new E6010 setting will help improve performance when welding with E6010/6011 rods.
It uses the same case and a few controls have been rearranged but it's parameters are largely unchanged. It's been refined into a more versatile unit without messing with what makes the unit a great unit to have.

This happened once before but after playing around with some switches it went away. Anyway I was panicking as even though I do not use it a lot I do depend on it when I need to fabricate something on my restorations. I called Everlast Tech support and he had me run thru a number of things and finally asked me to crank up the base voltage and tell him what the current reading was on the digital readout when I hit the torch switch. It read 40 AMPS. To be honest the manual on this model was not translated well and I did not realize how it was supposed to read out the current it was set to when using the torch switch as I usually pedal it. Anyway he asked me if I had the up and downslope set to 0 which I did not and had me do that and now it works fine. Turns out that is supposed to only be used when it that 4 t mode but anyway it is now working fine and kudo's to their tech support guy whose name I forgot for helping me out.
Ole4 ..

Glad Ray took care of you happy welding

Nice job, it works better than expected from the price point.

The tig works good so far only been welding 1/8" steel so far, very easy to use.

The plasma really impresses me so far, have a hypertherm at work and wasn't expecting a multiprocess machine to perform as well, but it does...wow anything so far from aluminum to 3/8" steel with clean cuts and no issues.

Again nice job look forward to using this machine for years to come.

thank you .. enjoy the welder !

200dx

I called yesterday to purchase a 200dx. When I talked with the receptionist she informed me they were having a deal on the new 200dx dual voltage, with the deluxe package and free shipping. Once I got on the line with Alex he informed me of their new pedal in the deluxe package which is similar to the ssc I was going to buy after I got the machine. So I made the purchase. I recieved a confirmation email from everlast with a tracking number. Then I recieved a email from ups that also gave me a tracking number at the request of everlast. My machine will be here tomorrow, so if I make it back home in time to go to the wss to get my argon, ill report back on the new pedal. I was very with my ordering experience. Thanx guys

whalesac I just received my PowerPlasma 60s. Everything looks good and can't wait to try it out. Oleg was very helpful, as he was when I ordered my PowerTIG 200DX a few years back.

Thanks again.

All NEW DUAL VOLTAGE Everlast PowerPro 164 AC/DC TIG / STICK / PLASMA CUTTER

We've revamped the 164 to offer it at a reasonable price and offer the features that are really needed for a TIG/Stick/Plasma unit.

This new unit has the AC frequency and Balance range of the PowerPro 256 at 20-250Hz and 10-90% cleaning.
It also has downslope, and post flow control.
Output for TIG is 160 amps, Stick 130 amps, and Plasma at 40 amps (s-45 torch).
This unit is ALSO DUAL voltage, which puts out a maximum on TIG of 125 amps, Stick 90 amps, and Plasma 25 amps when operated on 110V.
Duty cycle for all function on all voltages is 60%.
It also includes a fixed 1 and 25 Hz pulse.
The price is a new, lower price of course, at 1200.00
Better yet, we will be open July 4th and 5th and we are going to run a sale of 20% off (shipping not included) the new, lower price. That's 960.00 folks. Price won't get any better than this on an AC/DC machine with Plasma.

Happy Fourth, and Happy Welding!

From the folks at Everlast.

tjswj I would like to thank you for your customer service. I sent you an email about some pieces for my 250p machine, and within a few hours I had a rep calling me and helping me out with what I needed and at a great price.

After placing my order though, I never recieved any sort of shipping conformation or receipt from him (this was on a Friday). Worrying myself that I paid the wrong person (used paypal) I gave Everlast a call Monday to be sure they recieved my payment. They did! Only problem was that paypal messed up and didnt put my shipping address through. Even though it was not Everlast fault, the lady I spoke with added extra consumbales to my order at no charge, and had a UPS tracking number to me within 2 hours.

Thank you for the great customer service!
