dino30 At least your came with instructions ... Ive been left to fend for myself .... With no response to any of the questions ive emailed or called about .. absolutely Zero customer support . With a product that fills a gap in the market , if the support was there it would be a top notch company ........ But I recommend going elsewhere for a doubler setup , 1 for the support and 1 for the instructions ..

CJ68 I hate to do this. Duffy is a good man and his products are great but... If he doesn't make an effort to correct his lines of communication then it is his downfall. Complain about bad cell service all you want. But get a land line in the shop to fix the problem.

Give these guys a call. Since Duffy can't be caught, I will probably eventually sell my old style 231 Box4Rocks and buy the behemoth D300 shorty kit. Don't PM me about selling my kit... I don't know when I will get around to it.

CJ68 Just texted Duffy. Looking to convert my current box 4 rocks into the billet version. I have talked to him before. Once you get his ear, he is an awesome guy to deal with.

Here is hoping for a timely response .

dino30 I am not going to run an SYE , as i am building a 2 piece rear driveshaft.. The second part will have a slip built into it . When I go to the rear 4 link with coilovers i may be changing cases again . The main reason for this doubler is just to get my front driveshaft longer . Right now at full droop it will bind 3 inches before my coilovers bottom out .. Thanks for the info though ... And what spline count do I need to get ? the one from the cherokee or the dakota t-case ?

dodge doubler

Im building the same combo for my Dakota.
Use the Jeep t case in front and the Dodge case in the rear.
The 3 gear planetary is plenty strong for that purpose.
In front the palentary is getting the std torgue/hp load while the rear in lo lo gets double.
You will be fine in that configuration!
Let Duffy know the spline counts and he can advise further.
Note replace the rear cases out put shaft with a hd slipe yoke eliminator kit such as Advanced Adapters or JB Conversions!

Cheers

dino30 Duffy ,
I am building a 99 Dakota .. It has a 231 HD t-case in it . Do you make a kit to build a 231HD / 231 LD Doubler ? The difference is the number of planet gears in the planetary .. Mine has 6 as the cherokee only has 3 . I have a 44RE trans , with the 5.2 V8 .. Please let me know , as this is a part i am needing to order within the next 2 weeks to finish my truck .... Thank you .

willysjeepseller I would love to buy one. But I'm getting pissed off because it's been 5 days of calls and texts and nothing. Horrible way to run a business.

Yes. If you are looking for a new kit. Look at his new billet case.

JRowe I finally got a response the other morning via text. He's still around, just doesn't answer the phone or listen to messages.
