Thanks, I was thinking about that the other day. So basically you can stuff 37's but you'll have some long bump stops.

tjChilipepper I've seen the ROKMEN first hand. They are top notch quality and construction. Pretty sure those guys are running 40's written only 2" of lift.

flecker I don't want a lift.... what tires fit with the metalcloak's without a lift?
02-29-2012 11:22 AM
Black97TJ30022 I modified the BTF DIY for "highline". I had to build a new battery box but it came out alot cheaper than any company's "highline" kit that I could find.

02-29-2012 08:17 AM
PJ Hale I bought the whole enchilada, front flat fenders, rockers and comp cut rears. Perfect fit, nice powdercoat, great service after the sale. My only problem was with the lights. I ended up drilling a second hole facing forward to make sure i was legal in tx. They look great and my 37's, with rustys 3in springs, clear fine on my 05 lj.

Lil John Good imfo. I've been looking at metalcloaks overline fenders. Anybody running them?

upsidedown2 I have the Genright with the 4" fender. I am running them without the OE fenders at this time I have no inner fenders. They fit good and came with nice welds.

I did not know that I had to cut my OE fenders up to make them work I did 1 side and said f--- that it did not look good to me, so I sold the 1 fender I did not F up.
02-25-2012 06:21 PM
SanDiegoCJ I like the TNT and Metalcloak, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up getting the Metalcloak since they have full inner fenders and you can use the factory
airbox. The TNT requires an aftermarket air intake and I don't need the added expense.

I purchased the above kit a couple years ago. Although the price is really nice the product is not. they advertise as DOM but it is in fact seamed. when we started fitting the fenders to the jeep one of the tubes was too short so lucky my friend a piece of extra tubing we were to use to make up the distance. also the fenders didn't match up so we had to make them fit. when i called chris, the owner of white rhino, he insulted me and my friends. don't go the cheap route like it did. i'm probably about to pull mine off and either get the gen right or tnt kit.

The TJ & LJ Highline/Flat Fender/Tube Fender Bible

So, I got tired of a million threads on which hi-line should I get etc...

Such as (other pertinent threads go here)--
Undecided on Tube Fenders- Opinions Wanted
Low Cog 35" or more less than 3" total lift

Also, since after I finish my axles and 4 link rear next thing would be some kind of front hi-line, this is also selfish. Thanks to SuperWade2 for starting the base for this.

Please suggest edits, add photos for me to link to, etc. I am looking to everyone to help make this as accurate as possible. I will only add so many pics per fender/company.

Although this includes some kits that aren't true hi line that is the focus of this thread, kits that allow 33's or 35's with no lift, or 37's with 2-3" lift. I do plan on adding the tube fenders as time goes on. For companies that have both hi-lines and factory hood line fenders I generally excluded the factory hood line fenders.

Claimed clearance numbers were either taken from websites or sent to me via PM on the forum. These are listed as claimed because there is a lot of debate as to how these are measured, how accurate they are, etc.
