I have the software and connector, if you're interested. I can put it on my laptop and bring it this weekend to the summit.

Who's afraid now?

Seriously, I don't mind a tent, done that many times. And I love snow wheeling, and don't mind some risk. But when it gets downright dangerous due to conditions? No thanks, I'll wait until it settles.

Afraid of setting up a tent?

I need to reprogram my yaesu. I've got way to many repeaters/simplex on it and none of it is in any order.

Well if you guys need some help, I'm always looking for an excuse to get up hwy 50. I'll ride shot gun in the snow. I don't have a top, combined with being skinny, I'de die in a snow storm.

Thats used if you are on the trail and need to talk to someone outside of the trail.

and the same frequency and shift with a PL of 156.7 is talking inside the Rubicon to others inside the Rubicon.

Is that right?
Yup, of course both are down right now. Dunno how long it will take to get em' back up, but I'll keep everyone abreast of goings on. Working on a new plan for more reliable equipment right now, not sure if it will work out.

resqme Sorry I missed you, Steven. The 805 is back up, but now the Rubicon repeater is down (it broke and was causing interference to the 805, so down it comes for a re-vamp). We are working on solutions at double quick speed, it'll be back up soon!

resqme We found the problem today. Ray P. and I are going after it tomorrow. It's the link transmitter at Spider being held open and we're not sure why so...the rubicon repeater will be down for a few weeks while we bring it back for repair and then take it back up.

resqme Errant signal in the Pollock Pines area is holding it open. He's trying to track it down so he can turn it back on.

'805 Repeater?

The '805 has been down most of the day. What's the skinny? Frank turn things off due to the solar flares? Enquiring minds need to know.
