Yep Chris and I are in for the season. It will be nice to have more than 3 cars, like we did all last season.

YELLOWHOBO Suggestion for speeding up down time on courses...

Make the Start and Finish line away from each other so the next team can be staged at the Start line and ready to go. As soon as the judges have scored the team and set the cones, they (the judges, not the team) start the clock. The next team has got to be ready when the judges start the clock or too bad! This will cut down idle time in a major way! Some might think that it is unfair for not getting to walk the course right before running... if the courses are set far enough in advance, then there is no excuse for not walking the course and having a plan. Plans change, I understand... the best teams wing it on the fly. This will help to keep rigs on the course as much as possible and help the fans have running courses to watch.

Not sure what it will do to speed up the day as a whole... it probably will help! But it will definitely have more action on the course.

i really want to run a couple of events but i am also buying a house so depending on how much cash that sucks up will determine how many comps i can do.

I was

My apprentice at work broke his arm and smashed his wrist all to shit dirtbiking a week ago and is off for up to 6 months (surgeries, plates, screws, etc)

Anywho, that changes my whole holiday schedule at work as it's just me and my Dad now (we need at least 2 installers in the shop at all times). Unless I can find an experienced installer, I am shit outta luck

ovrrks Spotter ride is cool and does bring some point changes that make you plan and take chances.

Drivers and spotters are always trying to wait till the last min to enter course. Worried about everything going on. Maybe having a starter judge at the start cones who has driver and spotter ready at the 5min mark so as soon as the rig on course is done the main judges move back in place and start the new car. That should speed up the show. Just a thought ( i know it means more workers)

Rear steer ( some drivers can use some can't ) But I know that I have spotted some drivers that didn't need it.

Tee shirts. I have a box of them and they don't mean all that much. But I do know that the judges and volunteers like them. For some its the way in to learning the sport and or being close to the drivers and teams that they like.

THIS SPORT/HOBBY IS VERY EXPENSIVE AND WE ALL HAVE MONEY TIED UP IN CARS. CHANGING ALOT OF RULES WILL HELP SOME BUT PUSH OTHERS AWAY.

JUST MY 2CENTS.
