Took a week off work. Figured i would work on the old rhino. Planned out a work day with Mario and we went to work today. There were no plans or drawings just bending tube. *Good progress

well I've been out for a while, working alot and moving not many updates, but I'm going to Fordyce next weekend
Also bought a new tow rig. 03' 6.0 (heads done etc.) King Ranch F350 crew cab longbed. A little bro, but the price was right.

I talked to Mark who made/designed the Stubler Doublers for rangers/broncoII's/explorers and he ran me through making a replacement shaft. Today I made the new input/shaft for the planetarys and installed it in the rear case.

i replaced the freeze plugs/spark plugs/cap and rotor/oil change and it seems to be running well again.
Things that need to be done before koh
Pull transmission. Mount new flywheel/clutch. Fix pan leak on trans. Put back in
Redrill new leaf pack mount springs
Modify input shaft on new rear tcase. *Build doubler
Rebuild front driveline
Things that I want to do but probably won't have time
Add tubing in front

|Outlawz4X4||I believe that's the tab that holds the oil pump in place to keep it from rotating. I have two six pinion planetary and shift collars sitting on the bench if you're interested.|

well I suffered some major set backs to day while working on the truck.
I was pulling the starter out and noticed there was a hole in the side of my engine block. The middle freeze plugs pushed out on both sides. Fuck. I drained oil, and it looks fine. I also pulled the spark plugs so my bro can do a pressure test on each cylinder tomorrow. While doing so I fucked up the spark plug wires.
decided to pull apart doubler. Everything in front case is good. the shifter even works. Rear case is interesting and I dont really know what happened. The female input on the planetary is jacked. The splines are good but the bearing and brass bushing are fucked as well as the end of that shaft is all torn up. This is a major issue as that piece was part of the doubler set up. The one provided with the kit was machined down to work with the front case. To fix this I will need to machine, or cut some how. You can see the difference below
