I have a set of pathy wheels i'm planning on running on my Xterra this year but was told to do so i may need some special lug nuts...any truth to that and if so what am i gonna need? Thx.
Assuming you're talking about the 87-95 3-spoke-ish (Lego) alloy wheels, the original version needed the shank-style lugnuts, but were later revised with steel inserts in the lug holes to work with acorn style lugnuts. If the last 5 digits of the part number on the wheels in one of the big holes are 32G00, they're the originals, anything else are the revised ones.
Sorry i forgot to post up what kind of wheels, did it at work in a hurry...anyway they are legos and i'll look at them tonite after i get home to check for the numbers. I knew someone would know. Thanks.
