How much is too much?
Hey Guys, usually I'm over on the Samurai side but I need to ask. Looking to do a dual t-case in my truck and understand a 720 case is the ticket. My question to you is, what would you expect to find one for at the wrecker's? Any input is greatly appreciated...

I bought one pre-pulled for $125 at an expensive junkyard. Anything less than that is a good price IMO.
Why do a dual case in your truck? They make 6:1 gears for it don't they? I guess cost is a factor, but still, do you have the room in the drivetrain for a second Tcase?

it's nice to have more than just LOW, so with the duals you can have hi-low-double low

I've got the LWB so I have tons of room, looks like I'll end up with a SWB rear d/shaft. I'd like to do the dual setup because a: it's different b: I don't want to drop 1K Cdn for gears c: I have the ability and tools. Thanks for the replies guys, I'll let you know what comes of this...Dog, I'd buy it form ya but by the time Customs got done with me I could probably get one from Nissan
