Just built a Frontier rear bumper
http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/sho...il+Attachments
Number 8 has the first upper hoop, #10/11 has the new one modified slightly. What do you think? Greg

haha...those aren't even completed...you should see the braces
It's fully welded and it will NOT move. I'll try to get some pics of it up here in the next few days with the hitch all welded in and such. That bumper is actually getting scrapped, I had to make some changes to it here and there and I won't sell it modified and pounded on and bent here and there. It is the official prototype that would work, but is not going to be used. Greg

It's not for my truck, but probably either mount it on the bed, or just weld some tabs on it...I'd vote for the bed idea, license plates are UGLY

Scrapped? Shit thow it in with the stuff you are sending me, I'll take it to the "junk yard" for you
. I'm guessing your reason for not using it is because its kind of ugly, but its not like that matters much to me, and if anyone asks who made it I'll make sure to let them know its a prototype/second so people won't judge your work by it. Plus I'll be able to tell you what needs to be done to fit it on a pathfinder.

haha, no not because it's ugly... because I don't think it is.I am keeping the design, just scrapping that one bumper. It was the prototype and needs some tweaking to fit the way I want it to. Because it was for a Frontier of the 01+ and I built it on a 00'. The beds are a little wider so I have to bend the outer rails out some, which I did not want to sell anyone a bumper that I had heated and bent. A buddy of mine is paying for materials and is going to run it on his truck. Wait till you see it on a 01' lifted truck...I don't think it will be ugly then

I don't think it's ugly now...powdercoat it and it would be ugly...although pretty powdercoating does have it's functionality.. nevermind it would still look good powder coating, just don't put sparkly paint on it.

Sorry, I didn't mean to call it ugly, bad choice of words, I just thought you were planning on sending it to the trash can because it wasn't perfect.
Am I making any sence or am I rambling again? Damn I'm dumb, {cracks another beer}

Ok, I see what you mean. All good though. No, it's not perfect and I don't want it out to a customer if it's not. It just didn't fit the way I wanted to on the newer trucks, so I'm building a new one
