Finished my winch bumper
I made it out of 1/4" steel and some thiner diamond plate as a top. The warn 8274 is tucked in deep after I cut the grill out around it. I cleaned and lubed the winch and added a sinthetic amsteel blue line. I also mounted some shackles below the bumper.

that's badass. Do you just cut out and weld each piece one at a time, or did you start with a base piece and added on to it?
looks great.

I won't add any more weight to it, it's pretty heavy. I did start with a center section as a base, and added the ends. Each piece is measured marked and cut out then welded together. I have not winched with it yet, but feel pretty sure that it is solid. The whole structure is strong and there is no flex or movement evident.
