Finished my winch bumper

I made it out of 1/4" steel and some thiner diamond plate as a top. The warn 8274 is tucked in deep after I cut the grill out around it. I cleaned and lubed the winch and added a sinthetic amsteel blue line. I also mounted some shackles below the bumper.

Cool. Are you going to add any bars up over the winch and lights?

that's badass. Do you just cut out and weld each piece one at a time, or did you start with a base piece and added on to it?

looks great.

Looks really good man, and pretty damn stout. And you've still got a decent aproach angle too. Have ya winched with it yet?

I won't add any more weight to it, it's pretty heavy. I did start with a center section as a base, and added the ends. Each piece is measured marked and cut out then welded together. I have not winched with it yet, but feel pretty sure that it is solid. The whole structure is strong and there is no flex or movement evident.
