Nissan VS Toyota... Front and Rears.....
OK what i plan to do is... a SAS on the ol 720... By useing a Toyota front end, because 1/2 and 3/4 ton front and rears are way tooo wide. So what i need to know is what are width diffrences if any between a 720 Nissan Rear end and a Toyota front??..

You would be much better off swapping the rear to a Yota axle too since there is actually an aftermarket for them.

Yea i was thinking on just swapping the Nissan rear to All Toyota front and rear's and just leaving my Nissan T-Case. See i have 2 Nissan Front and Rears, and 2 T-Case's for a Nissan 720. I just want to make sure to have a good front and rear and also drive shafts. Yea the reason for not wanting such wide axles is like what Plush_Darkside said... These narrow trails we have around here. Especially a big ride we go on that has such bad/deep mud holes that alot of trucks have to go around them and the trails going around them are very tight between tree's. I know the 3/4 ton stuff is very tuff. But i want the mini truck width even though ill be running around a 8" wide wheel on around 38" Boggers.

Thats is an idea... Ive gotta friend i talked to earlier that is a Yota freak and builds wicked trucks out of any Yota, weither it be a lifted up Yota with 44"s to rock crawlers and he told he had a front and rear yota diff's complete that are stock and came out from under the same truck. He told me they were in the way cause he had so much Yota stuff stuffed in his garage that if id come get em i could have em both for 100 bucks. So im gonna look into it as soon as i get this car of mine sold. Being broke sucks, especially when being laid off cause of seasonale work.

Yeah, I don't see how it would work, the H233 has A LOT bigger ring gear than a Yota, I think a Yota axle is more in the ball park of an H190. If it could be done it would be very cool though, cheap gears would be nice.

Damn if that did work that would be really really cool, open up a whole new door for gears and lockers and such. But ya i definetly cant see it working at all anyways. I'd still take my h233b over a toyota axle anyday. Cheap gears would be very very very nice. Well since nissan is using the dana 44s now, at least some nissan owners will be gettin cheap gears in the future. So whos gonna be the first to SAS an '05 fronty or titan?
